Job Description
Lead data focused projects using Agile Scrum and Waterfall.
• Perform Scrum roles and run core ceremonies.
• Manage sprints, backlogs, and delivery using Azure DevOps.
• Build project plans, schedules, and resource maps for non Agile work.
• Oversee data engineering and analytics initiatives.
• Coordinate across engineering, analytics, architecture, and business teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry data and governance standards.
• Track risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
• Provide clear status updates, dashboards, and reports.
• Drive process improvements across hybrid delivery models.
Required Skills
• 12+ years managing technical projects in Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to perform Scrum responsibilities effectively.
• Practical, hands on use of the Azure DevOps tool to run Agile delivery including:
o Managing product backlogs (creating, refining, prioritizing work items)
o Running sprints (boards, tasks, burndown, capacity planning)
o Setting up and tracking dashboards, queries, and reports
o Using ADO to coordinate user stories, bugs, tasks, and acceptance criteria
o Organizing repos, pipelines, or artifacts at a basic level (not deep engineering, but enough to track work)
o Ensuring traceability from requirements → development → testing → release
o Supporting Agile ceremonies using ADO as the single source of truth
o Monitoring progress, dependencies, and team workload through ADO boards
• Strong background in data engineering or analytics programs
• Knowledge of healthcare payer processes (claims, eligibility, provider data).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, and security in regulated environments.
Bonus Skills
• PMP, Scrum Master, or scaled Agile certifications.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy and regulatory standards
