Job Description
The Data Entry Quality Control Specialist monitors, tests, reports findings and makes needed improvements to US Bank documents per SLA requirements within SLA time frame and per KPI’s. The QCS may be asked to provide additional administrative support to other areas of business operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts audits of document data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Follows auditing process
- Monitors scanning process for errors or product failures and report problems to the appropriate source
- Performs data entry of material from source documents to a computer database. (Operates alphanumeric keyboard to update tables, files, and screens and enter data)
- Transcribes routine pre-coded and identifiable alphanumeric data from source document
- Transcribes data from working source document by selecting proper screen for each job according to established guidelines.
- Performs clerical tasks in the data entry function.
- Works under direct supervision; work is closely monitored by supervisor
- Performs tasks such as: processing, scanning, mail sorting or similar activities required to support business operations
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Additional duties as required
- OT upon business demand
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- HS Diploma, required, College degree preferred
- Technologically savvy, ability to troubleshoot minor computer glitches for workarounds when connectivity or access is interrupted
- 2 years min quality assurance, auditing and data entry exp.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of TMI operations, performance goals and measurements.
- Ability to accurately enter alphanumeric data at a minimum rate of 140 kpm.
- Ability to use PC, keyboard or other data entry devices.
- Knowledge of scanning and other Transactional processes.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
Physical Demands:
Computer use including typing using fingers on a keyboard and looking at the screen, talking, repetitious entering off data, sitting or standing at desk for 2-3 hours intervals.
