SAP APO Consultant – JD

The client is live on SAP ECC 6.0 and are in need of a high-level SAP APO consultant to fill in for Support role that handles all of the APO DP and SNP work. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Configuration role with 8 plus years of experience
• Good understanding on the Planning and execution Business Process – SAP / Industry Best Practices
• SNP Expert with 2-3 implementation experience for In-house manufacturing and external procurement. Preferably Optimizer based Planning.
• Hands on experience in DP.
• Should be able work independently on configuration with minimum guidance
• All sap standard out of box functionality will be implemented Ability to collaborate with business community to derive best practice.
• Should have good knowledge in CIF integrations
• Nice to have PPDS experience.
• Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; including ability to communicate with customers, associates and management.
• Organizes, plans, and executes project workshops and design development - from start to finish
• Defines cross-functional designs and ensures proper integration
• Develops functional specifications (low to high complexity)
• Understands customer requirements and suggest solution alternatives to better the solution.
• Provide Governance support for Redbook Entry, Batch Job, OSS Note Installation and Transport Release request. 
• Coordinate the activities and work with other support teams (Development/QA/OCC/Basis/SW Support/RM) to ensure the compliance.

Education and/or Experience

• Strong SAP APO SNP and DP experience with working knowledge in APO PP/DS
• 6-8+yrs experience in hands-on configuration / support of SCM APO-DP, SNP, PP/DS
• Business Process documentation
