JOB TITLE: Sr. Data Scientist - ML/AI

JOB LOCATION: Remote

WAGE RANGE*: $80-$100/hr - w2 or c2c 

6+ month contract 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Must-have: Data science experience, AI and machine learning fundamentals, and data pipelines.
• 5 to 7+ years

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for two Senior Data Scientist with experience implementing AI and Machine Learning techniques from the ground up. You will be part of a team of two Data Scientists exploring opportunities to implement Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies in our environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build out an AI/Client sandbox for conducting Data Science experiments.
• Identify applications/processes that could benefit from AI/Client and implement those technologies.
• Educate existing staff on basic algorithms along with best practices and pitfalls of each.
• Create a roadmap for the future state of our platform.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. or equivalent experience.
• Excellent knowledge of best practices in the fields of AI/Client.
• Financial Services experience a plus.
• Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution, and implement it using advanced quantitative methods.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.

Nice to have:

• Experience with general finance, derivatives, alt's, and market data.
• Must-have: Data science experience, AI and machine learning fundamentals, and data pipelines.
• Basic computer skills such as MS Office, Visio, etc.
• 5 to 7 years
