Role: Security Architect 

Work Mode: 100% Remote

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure platforms in the healthcare industry. 

Responsibilities: 

You will have to assess current security environment. 

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's systems and data. 

You will have to conduct a thorough analysis of our existing security infrastructure, policies, and procedures to identify vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and areas for improvement. 

You must be Microsoft Azure Security Expertise. 

You must utilize your in-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure platforms to design, implement, and manage robust security measures in line with industry best practices. 

You must be knowing compliance and regulatory alignment. 

You must ensure that our security practices align with HiTrust, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations and standards in the healthcare industry.  

You must get yourself updated with evolving security requirements and proactively implement necessary controls and measures. 

You will have to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive security roadmap that addresses immediate security needs and long-term goals.  

You must identify strategic initiatives, prioritize projects, and define key milestones. 

You will have to develop and enhance security policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry standards and support the organization's product direction.  

You must ensure that the policies are effectively communicated and understood by all stakeholders. 

You will have to oversee the implementation of security controls, including access controls, network security, encryption, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.  

You must coordinate with IT teams to deploy necessary security tools and technologies. 

You will have to promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.  

You will have to conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on security best practices, policies, and procedures. 

You will have to perform regular risk assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.  

You will have to develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely remediation of identified risks. 

Requirements: 

You must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

You must have healthcare experience. 

You must have a strong understanding of security frameworks such as HiTrust and HIPAA, as well as the ability to align security practices with new product development. 

You must have extensive experience at least of 7 years as a Security Architect or Engineer, preferably in the healthcare industry. 

You must have strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Azure platforms and services. 

You must have expertise in security frameworks such as HiTrust and HIPAA. 

You must be familiar with security compliance and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector. 

You must have proven track record in developing and implementing security roadmaps and strategies. 

You must have experience in policy and procedure development, including security controls, incident response, and risk management. 

You must have strong understanding of security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and vulnerability assessment tools. 

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

Desirables: 

Having relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
