Sr. IT Integration Engineer and Solutions Architect (Contractor)

The Role

·        We are looking for a Sr. IT Integration Engineer and Solutions Architect—with hands-on engineering experience with integration platforms and enterprise architecture—that is passionate about designing and delivering suitable, sustainable and scalable integrated solutions which enable high-quality user experiences throughout our internal user community.

·        The Architect will work as part of the Integration Team responsible for the Center for Enablement (C4E) and integration platforms such as MuleSoft and Workato. The Architect will advise team activities to launch C4E as a service. They will design, document, present and develop end-to-end integrated solutions that utilize integration platforms such as MuleSoft and Workato. They will advise on CI/CD processes utilizing GitHub and Jenkins. They will use suitable architecture patterns in integration design and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Advise teammates on products, features and practices to launch, sustain and enhance the Center for Enablement
  • Derive technical requirements from business requirements for integrated solutions
  • Partner with internal and external teams to design integrated solutions utilizing MuleSoft
  • Partner with internal and external teams to design integrated solutions utilizing Workato
  • Diagram/document integrated solutions
  • Present integration designs to review forums such as Architecture Review Board (ARB), Security and Privacy as required
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Legal and other business teams to ensure current and new integrations are aligned with company regulations and policies
  • Develop APIs and Mule applications using MuleSoft
  • Develop integration recipes using Workato
  • Stay informed of new and upcoming product offerings on integration products
  • Recommend new and improved user experiences on integration products for product roadmaps
  • Adopt flexible working hours to support global business operations and initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years relevant working experience in an Engineer and/or Solutions Architect role with the following skills, qualities, and experience:
  • Experience with and demonstrable understanding of how to manage and use MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (Level 2 preferred)
  • Experience with and demonstrable understanding of how to manage and use Workato
  • Workato Automation Pro II (III preferred)
  • Experience with and demonstrable understanding of object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, C++)
  • Experience with GitHub or other code repository tools
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Experience with AWS Global Cloud Infrastructure
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Able to build positive, constructive relationships with internal/external teams
  • Works with a self-motivated, proactive, organized, methodical, and thorough approach
  • Experience working with an agile/Scrum team is a plus
