Job Description

Job Title: ETL Developer

Location: Remote, US

Future duties and responsibilities

• Ensure that the ETL requirements are adequately understood and documented

• Coordinate data acquisition efforts (understand and document source data and source systems)

• Understand requirements, tools, technical stack, data models, and source-to-target mappings

• Collaborate with architects to provide overall ETL solution that aligns with the business needs

• Perform ETL application development and data transformation efforts

• Perform code reviews to ensure code meets standards and guidelines

• Perform QA functions for the ETL application, including ensuring that unit and integration test plans are developed and executed

• Perform root cause analysis/troubleshooting on any code issues

• Complete ETL development within timeframes

• Provide code migration instructions in standard documentation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Expertise in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Concepts

• Experience working with various ETL tools

• Experience in multi-tier development environments and stringent migration processes

• Solid communication skills

• Strong testing skills
