Role Description

NthLine Solutions LLC is seeking a Lead Java Developer with Kafka for a flexible hybrid role located in Atlanta, GA, and including the option for remote work. As a Lead Java Developer with Kafka, you will help NthLine Solutions LLC develop and maintain robust and scalable Java applications using Kafka stream processing to facilitate communication between services. You will work closely with other software engineers and stakeholders in a fast-paced development environment to deliver high-quality software solutions. This is a contract role.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software development with Java, Kafka, and stream processing
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other Kafka-related components
  • Demonstrated expertise in software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization
  • Experience with modern software development practices including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevOps principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the finance industry and related technologies is highly desirable
