around 10 years of Relational Database concepts

SQL analytical skills

understanding of Data modelling concepts and Performance Optimization

knowledge on Database design

data quality issues and root causes.

in database objects like Stored Procedures functions packages triggers views and Materialized views.

on indexing and partition strategies that helps in query performance.

in Advanced PL SQL bulk Operations and SQL Loader

write PL/SQL code but more importantly need to be able to do production support within PL/SQL where they analyze, debug, and fix existing code that is already in production.

Oracle Applications related development experience using PL/SQL and doing their production support on these applications.

Ability to code at a high level.

Extensive experience writing stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers.

Extensive experience with SQL tuning, INDEXES.

Experience with data migration, star schema, creating dimensions, data warehousing.

Some knowledge of T-SQL will be a plus.
