Scope of Services
The Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring security throughout the SDLC, implementing and maintaining security controls, and adhering to the NIST framework to safeguard client data across cloud, on-premise, and third-party systems. This role involves collaboration with system integrators to apply best practices, assess security designs for technology upgrades, and address challenges promptly.
Mandatory Skills/Experience
- 7+ years of experience in system design and security engineering across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Strong knowledge of security engineering aligned with architectural strategies.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Two preferred (CCSP, CISSP, CISA, Azure Solutions Architect/Technologies).
- Expertise in secure design reviews, IAM protocols, SDLC, OWASP, and NIST frameworks.
Desirable Skills/Experience

Proficiency in IAM, PAM, SAML, MFA, cryptography, encryption, and DLP tools.

Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, CASB, user behavior monitoring, and log management.

Ability to implement and optimize security controls for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.

Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and advanced data security measures.

Expertise in secure API/web service integrations and incident response.

Strong analytical skills to assess risks, monitor threats, and recommend mitigation strategies.
