Job Description
ield Fiber Design Planner to support activities to construct, operate, and maintain fiber optic networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Skills Needed (Mandatory + Good to have)
Detailed planning/surveying for fiber optic network layouts, cables and connection points, Testing Designs, Resource Allocation, co-ordination with PMs & offshore teams
Hand On fiber network design tools like 3-GIS, ArcGIS, etc
Experience in designing OSP and ISP passive GPON/XGS-PON networks.
Ability to develop basemaps from various data sets, including GIS, PDF, aerial mapping, and field notes
Deploying FTTH and FTTB network infrastructure
Certifications such as Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) is preferred
