Job Title: Solutions Architect - Microsoft Azure
Location: Anchorage, AK (Remote)
Job Description:
Conducting architectural evaluation, analysis, and design of enterprise-wide systems and DR migration to Azure. Hands-on implementation of Azure DR solutions according to the designed architecture, including configuration, deployment, and integration with existing systems. Architecting comprehensive Azure DR solutions using appropriate services like compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and more, considering scalability, performance, and cost. Ensuring delivery of robust system DR solutions by the solutions architecture team to the business. Understanding business needs, identifying pain points, and translating them into technical requirements for Azure DR solutions. Assessing existing DR infrastructure, developing migration plans to move workloads to Azure, including data migration and application modernization. Designing and implementing robust security measures on Azure to protect data and applications, including identity management, access controls, and threat mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring the performance of Azure DR solution, identifying bottlenecks, and taking corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
Creating detailed technical documentation for designed solutions, including architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and providing training to internal teams on Azure technologies
Providing technical expertise to development teams, assisting with troubleshooting, and ensuring best practices are followed during implementation.
Identification of customer DR requirements, analysis of alternatives and conducting product recommendations associated with platform, software and network configurations.
Collaboration with the client's infrastructure team for ensuring suitable translation of architectural solution into robust and effective implementation.
Required Experience:
Requires more than 8 years of experience in that specific discipline.
