Job Description
Job Title: Calypso Business Analyst/Consultant
Location: Boston, MA or Springfield, MA (Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: 4 Months with strong possibility for Extension or CTH
Max Rate: W2 Acceptable
Duties: High Level Responsibilities:
Create data mapping specs, enable configurations, validate date sets, and create Proof of Concepts Create data specs, manage functional specs, data quality, data cleansing, validation, and recon
Facilitate business requirements sessions to understand all relevant issues utilizing extensive Derivative products knowledge and associated Calypso functionality Lead analysis of data architecture, process, data, and rules to identify data reconciliation issues and recommend solutions.
Write, document, and execute test cases for QA and UAT.
Investigate and remediate source data and data mapping errors identified in QA testing.
Ability to interact with various technology teams, business stakeholders and provide prompt responses and adequate communication.
Create business process models, context diagrams and use case models
Skills:
Minimum of 4 years direct Calypso experience (Ideally V14 and above), including configuration of Static Data Filters, Reports, Workflows, SDIs, scheduled tasks, data architecture and integrations with warehousing and reporting solutions.
Calypso BA/DEV that has experience with reporting.
Extensive Derivatives product knowledge and technical background.
Knowledge of scripts and Calypso configurations to support the data architecture and workflows.
Experienced in agile, iterative project techniques including Scrum; experience with Jira is required
Demonstrated ability to partner with investment personnel to elicit and advance requirements
The ability to self-manage, plan, and prioritize your work effectively.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written methods
Proficient with standard documentation tools (Visio, Excel, Word)
Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL) and comfortable with learning new data schemas
