Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership & Management:
    • Lead large-scale IT projects from inception through delivery, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality criteria.
    • Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and management, and facilitate project meetings.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to foster consensus and drive decision-making.
  1. Technical Analysis & Design:
    • Perform detailed analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
    • Design and document business process flows, data models, and system integrations.
    • Evaluate existing IT systems and recommend enhancements or replacements.
  1. Solution Development:
    • Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions are aligned with business requirements.
    • Develop and review test plans, and oversee user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  1. Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and service levels.
    • Evaluate and select technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage performance.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
    • Advocate for and lead initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency within IT and across business units.
    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for adoption where relevant.
  1. Documentation & Training:
    • Create comprehensive documentation of business requirements, technical specifications, and project deliverables.
    • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new systems and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT business analysis, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
    • Strong project management skills with experience managing complex IT projects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in data analysis, process modeling, and requirements documentation.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
    • Strong understanding and experience with test management and solution certification (QMetry, Jira)
