Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Job Description:
- Deep knowledge of HCI platforms such as Dell XR, Cisco Hyperflex, and UCSX.
- Expertise in backup and storage solutions, including Veeam, Pure Storage, Nimble, and Alletra.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware (vSphere, vCenter) and Hyper-V.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on HCI, storage, and virtualization.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex HCI and virtualization solutions
- Advanced understanding of compute, storage, and networking architectures.
- Continuously monitor and tune the HCI environment for optimal performance and reliability.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to address them.
- Optimize storage and backup strategies to align with evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with organizational objectives.
- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders on HCI and virtualization projects.
- Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing across the team.
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery, replication, and backup strategies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
