Job Responsibilities:
Analytics Development: 
  • Develop and maintain internal front-end application, GA4 and GTM full-stack features for our Google suite of products.  
  • Design and implement scalable backend APIs and data structures that power our custom implementation. 
  • Build reusable components and documented services for partner integrations including eCommerce, Consent Management, CDP and popular CMS systems. 
  • Optimize application performance and reliability across the entire technology stack 
  • Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage 
  • Support a wide range of clients with unique platform requirements, ensuring tailored solutions and seamless integration across multiple environments.
Technical Expertise: 
  • Develop and implement tracking code (JavaScript) on websites and mobile apps to capture user interactions and events within Google Analytics.  
  • Configure tags and variables within a tag management system (GTM) to manage data collection across different platforms.  
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics features and functionalities, including variables, calculated metrics, and data processing rules.  
  • Proficient in JavaScript and other web development technologies to implement tracking code.  
  • Able to troubleshoot analytics tagging issues with common debugging tools such as Omnibug, Tag Assistant by Google or others. 
  • Coordinate with Google Technical Support to resolve widespread performance issues. 
  • Understanding of web analytics best practices and data quality standards.  
Collaboration:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose data issues and provide accurate insights  
    • Create tech specs & direct technical team for delivering client solutions. 
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively  
    • Communicate complex analytics insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.  
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience 
  • 5 years of experience in application development 
  • 3 years of experience with data management, data governance, data architecture, data analysis, data profiling, data quality, and system integration 
Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Google certifications (Google Developer Certification). 
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on analytics and customer journey tracking.  
  • Music or entertainment industry experience
