Job Description
AEM TECHNICAL LEAD:
Leadership and Team Management:
· Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance.
· Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and promote best practices for AEM development.
· Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define project goals and requirements.
· Allocate tasks, prioritize work, and ensure deadlines are met.
Technical Expertise:
· Design and architect AEM solutions, considering scalability, performance, and security.
· Provide in-depth technical knowledge and expertise on AEM, including components, templates, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM.
AEM Development:
· Develop and implement AEM components, templates, and workflows based on business needs.
· Work with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and back-end languages such as Java to integrate AEM with other systems.
· Customize and extend AEM features to meet specific business requirements.
· Ensure content management capabilities are efficient and user-friendly.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
· Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
· Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
AEM Implementation and Maintenance:
· Oversee AEM implementation from start to finish, including planning, execution, and post-launch support.
· Ensure the AEM instance is running optimally and update as necessary to handle new features or requirements.
· Work on AEM version upgrades and patches to ensure that the system is up-to-date and secure.
Performance and Optimization:
· Optimize AEM for high performance, including ensuring fast page loads, reducing server load, and optimizing caching strategies.
· Conduct performance testing and fine-tuning for both front-end and back-end performance.
Security and Compliance:
· Ensure AEM applications are developed following industry security standards and best practices.
· Implement and enforce security measures, such as access controls, to protect sensitive data and content.
Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain documentation for AEM configurations, code, and processes.
· Create regular reports on project progress, performance metrics, and any issues or risks to share with stakeholders.
