Job Description

• Network Infrastructure: Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, including Cisco routers, switches (Catalyst, Nexus, and ISR series), and SD-WAN solutions.
• Wireless Network Management: Implement and maintain Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points (APs), including conducting WiFi site surveys and troubleshooting.
• Cloud Technologies: Configure and manage Azure infrastructure to support organizational needs.
• Network Security: Deploy and configure firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), VPNs, and other security measures to maintain the integrity of the network. Perform vulnerability assessments and apply necessary remediations.
• Switch and Router Management: Configure, upgrade, and migrate network hardware, including (our type of equipment).
• Protocol Management: Troubleshoot and optimize routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, HSRP, and spanning tree technologies.
• Automation and Monitoring: Utilize Python, Ansible, and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) to automate tasks and monitor network performance.
• Project Management: Lead and participate in network infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new installations.
• Incident Management: Use Jira to manage tickets and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
• Team Leadership/Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams to align network systems with business requirements and ensure optimal performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are met on projects and daily operations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to review objectives, address challenges, and align team efforts with organizational goals.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and career development.
