Job Description
- Will support a development team on Banco Popular's Mi Banco program, rebuilding their retail mobile banking app
- Design and build applications for the Android Platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Proactively and continuously look for systematic and data integrity issues across multiple systems to prioritize and fix
- Critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances, and recommend proposals to clients
- Develop, build, and maintain reports and dashboards that contain actionable metrics to monitor the performance of our operations
What you’ll bring with You:
- 5+ Years experience working as a Android Developer
- 3+ yrs of experience with Android development.
- Proficient with Swift, some experience with Objective-C, and/or knowledge of SwiftUI and Combine
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards (Creating Reusable Components, UITableView, Developing UI Without Storyboard, Creating ADA Accessible Views)
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial and/or SVN)
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Helpful experience with any frameworks, libraries, such as: Alamofire, SwiftyJSON, Managing Asynchronous Requests, Experience with GCD (Grand Center Dispatch)
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
