Need AWS Engineer not .net developer
 
Job Description:
CDK and Typescript and AWS and then .net that is how the APIs are run , need to know Angular. Reviewing other peoples code and making sure unit tests are done properly and leader on the team. The rest of the team has .net and Angular, if they are really good in AWS and only did .net for a little bit. AWS native developer software development. STPP need someone who can understand 3rd party software and talk to the vendor and lead that discuss and understand the problem areas and come with solutions. Infra side this portal was created 3-5 years ago its not up to the mark need to containerize a lot of things. Need to implement cost savings migrating the DB from MS SQL to Postgres there is a lot of work to be done there not expecting this person to do all of that. 7 people on the team do the IT things alongside the business. Ok no previous lead title. Right now there are only 2 developers on the team. Node is fine instead of typescript, 60% infra and node is ok. Adding to the current infra is a big hurdle, AWS native building cloud native services.
 
Position Overview:
We are searching for a highly skilled AWS Developer with extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code, specifically with AWS CDK in TypeScript. The ideal candidate should also have proficiency in C#, .NET Core 8.0 or higher. Understanding of the Angular Framework is a plus. This role requires a fast learner who can work independently with minimal oversight and has a strong emphasis on code quality analysis, including SonarQube, Unit Testing, and Code Coverage.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure, like Cognito, ECS, ECR, EC2s, FSX etc. using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in TypeScript.
High proficiency with container orchestration with ECS.
Implement and maintain backend solutions using C# and .NET Core 8.0 or higher.
Develop and maintain frontend solutions using the Angular Framework.
Ensure high code quality standards using SonarQube/CodeQL, Unit Testing, and Code Coverage tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and application development.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
 
Qualifications:
Extensive experience with AWS and deploying infrastructure using AWS CDK in TypeScript.
Proficiency in C# and .NET Core 8.0 or higher.
Solid experience with the Angular Framework for frontend development.
Strong understanding of code quality analysis tools such as SonarQube.
Experience with unit testing and code coverage best practices.
 
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in the energy sector or related industries.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
