Job Description
Role: Senior Lead Azure Redis Cache 
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid) 
Job Type: Contract - 12 Months
Positions: 5

Key Responsibilities:
         Architect and Develop Advanced Cache Solutions: Design, implement, and manage complex, scalable, and fault-tolerant Azure Redis Cache architectures tailored to enterprise application needs.
         Collaborate with High-Performance Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze application demands and implement innovative caching strategies that ensure maximum throughput and ultra-low latency.
         Optimize Redis Cache for Peak Efficiency: Continuously monitor, fine-tune, and enhance Azure Redis Cache configurations, leveraging advanced features like persistence, clustering, and sharding to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
         Troubleshoot Complex Caching Issues: Conduct in-depth root cause analysis and resolve intricate performance bottlenecks or failures in distributed caching systems under high traffic.
         Automate and Streamline Processes: Develop robust scripts and automation tools for efficient deployment, monitoring, scaling, and management of Redis Cache instances in a DevOps environment.
         Leverage Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Redis, NoSQL databases, and Azure cloud technologies to recommend and implement cutting-edge improvements.
         Integrate Redis with Modern Architectures: Seamlessly integrate Azure Redis Cache with microservices, event-driven architectures, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or Cassandra for comprehensive solutions.

Requirements:
         Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced certifications in Microsoft Azure or distributed systems are preferred.
         Extensive Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Redis Cache solutions in Azure, with a proven track record of delivering performant caching architectures.
         Expert-Level Knowledge: In-depth expertise in Azure Redis Cache configurations, including clustering, active geo-replication, persistence, and advanced memory optimization techniques.
         Programming Mastery: Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to: Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Go, Ruby, TypeScript, Scala
         Strong ability to write highly efficient, multithreaded, and scalable code.
         NoSQL Expertise: Strong experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Cosmos DB, and a deep understanding of their interaction with Redis.
         Advanced Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to identify and resolve complex caching issues in distributed, high-concurrency environments.
         DevOps & Automation: Strong experience in automating deployment and monitoring pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Kubernetes for Redis Cache management.
         Cloud & Security Mastery: Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, networking, and performance optimization within Azure environments.
         Collaborative Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure, collaborative environments.

Preferred Skills:
         13+ Year of relevant experience.
         Expertise in working with serverless computing and event-driven architectures integrated with Redis Cache.
         Knowledge of observability tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or third-party solutions for monitoring Redis performance.
         Hands-on experience with Redis modules such as RediSearch, RedisJSON, and RedisTimeSeries.
         Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications are highly desirable.
