Job Description
Role: Azure Cloud Infra Engineer
Hire Type: Contract
Location: Redmond, WA (Remote)
Rate : $50/hr on C2C or $45/hr on W2
Skills Required:
Git: Branching, commit strategies, tagging, working with sub-modules
GitLab: Merge requests, pipelines, CI templates, submodules
Harness: Pipelines, Templates, Secrets, Delegates, Access Control
Jira: Ticket management, approval flows
Open-source tooling: Renovate, Docker, Helm, kubectl, k9s, jq
Open-source components: k8s, Emissary, Keda
Azure concepts and tools: Reliable and high scale architectures, availability zones, az cmd, service principals, MSI, PIM
Azure services: Deep knowledge of AKS, VMSS, Storage, Key Vault, IAM role assignments, Entra/AAD apps
Concepts: Basic auth-N + auth-Z concepts, asymmetric crypto, certs
Languages, IaC: Terraform, Python, Go, PowerShell, C# (desired but not needed)
