Job Description
Job Title : SAP Functional/Configuration Resource
Location(City/ST) : Alpharetta, GA (Local Only)
Responsibilities :
- Gather & Analyze Requirements of – System, Capabilities, Users, Roles, Processes & Data and Document them in Customer accepted formats/ Templates.
- Collaborate with various Customer stakeholders, Team members and participate in designing optimum solution for the signed off requirements.
- Build / Configure / Deploy solution as per the agreed design e.g. Customize using IMG configurations, Setup Master data, End-2-end process flows etc.
- Test solution end-2-end ensure built/configured solution works according to design and fulfills all relevant requirements, record defects, track and investigate and resolve defects.
- High energy, self-motivated, should able to accomplish project goals with minimal or no supervision.
Qualifications –
- Bachelor’s degree or Foreign Equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of relevant progressive experience in SAP as Business User in lieu of every year of education in the field chosen.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) & Materials Management (MM) including at least 2 full life cycle implementation project for large user base ( 5K+ users)
- Strong SD background including but not limited to: Sales Document Flow, Material Movement flow, Warehouse Management flow and it’s integrations with other modules
- Strong ALE, EDI, IDOC background
- Preferred: Experience/Knowledge of integration with WMS Systems - Manhattan, Softeon.
- Ability to provide solutions to complex business scenarios within SD/MM/WM space.
- Ability to transition and communicate from business to technical level and vice versa.
- Work with Technical Team, writing functional specs, providing direction, assisting on development and unit testing
- Strong verbal and written and communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of business.
