Job Description
Position: Data Architect (2 openings)
BH#: 2065074 & 2065071
Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite 3 x a week)
Contract Length: 12 months+
Interview Process
- Who all is in the interview process (leads, managers, etc.)? Hiring manager and team lead
- How many rounds of interviews? 1 technical round w/ team lead and 1 personality fit with hiring manager
Top Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience / No specific industry preferred (industries outside of banking encouraged)
- Experience with relevant enterprise data platforms and processing on Hadoop, Teradata, and Data Transformation Products
- Understanding of storage and data replication platforms: CEPH, Cirata, Ozone, MinIO, Kudu, HDFS
Nice to Haves
- Prefers industry experience outside of banking – wants people that will bring new solutions and be an innovative thinker
Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:
- Refreshing hardware, updating storage engines
- -Build drawings and security documents and get those approved
- -Work with vendors to get bugs fixed or feature requests built
- -As it relates to the new business case, they will be working with the 500 tenants coming in (figure out their sizing, who they can co-locate with)
