Company is looking for a PM to assist with the selection and implementation of a cloud based supply /demand planning solution as well as a new POS system, for their retail stores
POS and Demand/supply planning systems PM are a must
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation and replacement of our supply/demand planning system and point-of-sale (POS) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise system implementation, technology transformation, and change management. They will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring seamless integration of new systems, stakeholder engagement, and business continuity during the transition.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project management for planning system and POS system replacement, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations, Sales, and external vendors) to ensure smooth system implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, conduct gap analysis, and optimize system functionalities.
• Manage vendor selection, contract negotiations, and third-party relationships to ensure system compatibility and support.
• Oversee data migration, system integration, and testing to minimize disruptions and ensure system reliability.
• Conduct training programs and change management initiatives to facilitate user adoption and minimize resistance.
• Monitor and control project risks, budget, and performance to ensure adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
• Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on project progress, challenges, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of project management experience, in retail, hospitality, or supply chain industries.
• Proven track record in planning system implementation and POS system replacement.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
• Experience managing IT system integrations, data migration, and business process improvements.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheets, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud-based POS systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise supply/demand planning, retail business processes, inventory management, and customer transactions.
