Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the development team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Onsite Rockville MD
- Interpret business needs to design a web application that supports business objectives.
- Act as the technical lead for both design and implementation leveraging industry standards and best practices.
- Develop responsive front-end systems to integrate with existing user platforms.
- Support the team in shepherding releases through the SDLC process through to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product designers, analysts, and data engineers.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
- 7+ years of experience building production-quality web-based multi-tier web applications.
- 4+ years of experience building web front-ends with JavaScript UI frameworks such as Angular
- 2+ years of experience building restful web services in Java (J2EE) or Python (Django/Flask).
- Experience with SQL and building on Amazon AWS services.
