Job Description:
Must Have Skills –
· Proven experience in migrating SharePoint Project Server environments to Azure.
· Microsoft Project Server (SharePoint Project Server) along with SharePoint and Azure exposure(iPAS Service).
· SSRS
· Extensive knowledge of Azure services and technologies.
· As a SharePoint Project Server Migration to Azure Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the migration of on-premises SharePoint Project Server environments to Azure, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal performance in the cloud.
Desired Skills:
· Experience with Power BI and other Microsoft analytics tools.
· Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
· Experience with scripting and automation.
Responsibilities:
· Migration Planning and Execution
· Develop and execute migration plans, strategies, and timelines for migrating SharePoint Project Server environments to Azure.
· Assess current SharePoint Project Server environments, identify dependencies, and determine the best migration approach (e.g., lift and shift, re-architect).
· Utilize Microsoft's migration tools (e.g., SharePoint Migration Tool, Azure Migrate) and other relevant technologies to facilitate the migration process.
· Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, project management, business stakeholders) to align migration plans with business requirements.
· Technical Expertise:
· Possess in-depth knowledge of SharePoint Project Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
· Configure and manage Azure resources (e.g., Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines) for SharePoint Project Server migration.
· Troubleshoot migration-related issues and ensure the stability and performance of the migrated environment.
