Job Description
Position:: CNC Programmer
Location: Lafayette, IN 47905 (Onsite)
NX CAD/CAM version 2000 or greater
Vericut 9.0 or greater
Creo version 7 or greater (this is preferred but not a requirement)
Well-versed in Siemens and Fanuc G&M code
Experienced with HMC, Gantry (head changer), and Multi-axis machining centers
Mill-turn experience is desired but not required
Print reading skills – understand basic GD&T (Caterpillar print reading class available)
Advanced knowledge of tool application
Able to interpret tool, fixture, and NC layout drawings
Calculate cutting feeds and speeds by referencing manufacturers' recommendations
