Job Description

• Administer and maintain IMS databases, including performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Perform DBRC forward recoveries, analyze RECON/List reports, and execute database recoveries.
• Utilize IBM IMS utilities and vendor tools to create, modify, and maintain database descriptions.
• Assist application teams with DBRC issues in test environments and resolve production abends.
• Refresh Dev/Test databases with production backup images as needed.
• Support mainframe OS administration, software upgrades, and Disaster Recovery (DR) testing in coordination with the DCS vendor.
• Provided technical assistance for COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM program troubleshooting.
• Develop and debug REXX programs in a z/OS environment.
• Maintain Top Secret security setups, IP Printway configurations, and ISMF storage functions.
• Support batch SFTP/FTPS processing and Informatica Power Exchange integrations.
