Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with expertise in Finance (FI), Materials Management (MM), Data Quality, and Data Governance at Plano, TX (Onsite) for W2 contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP systems, with a particular focus on financial processes, supply chain management, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP System Implementation & Support:
- Configure, test, and support SAP Finance (FI) and Materials Management (MM) modules to meet business requirements.
- Assist in the design and implementation of SAP solutions to improve business processes, specifically related to financial management, procurement, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives.
- Data Governance & Quality Management:
- Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of master data within the SAP system.
- Establish data quality standards, metrics, and processes to ensure high-quality data throughout the organization.
- Work closely with data stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring that data is reliable for decision-making.
- Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Conduct process assessments, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements for SAP financial and materials management processes.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and translate those needs into functional requirements for SAP solutions.
- User Training & Documentation:
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP Finance and MM modules and data governance best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and data governance policies.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Act as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot issues within SAP Finance and MM modules and ensure timely resolution.
- Work with SAP support teams to resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and other technical challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience working with SAP Finance (FI) and Materials Management (MM) modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP data governance frameworks, data quality management, and master data management.
- In-depth knowledge of data quality processes, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation.
- Ability to design and implement data governance policies and procedures across multiple business units.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving business operations and data accuracy.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in SAP Finance (FI), Materials Management (MM), or related modules.
- Experience with SAP Data Services, SAP BW/4HANA, or other SAP reporting tools.
- Familiarity with industry best practices in data governance, compliance, and security standards.
