Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in the implementation of Version Control in Gitlab for Salesforce Application Code, Meta Data Configurations etc.

• Support in the implementation and management of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes for seamless Salesforce releases.

• Develop and configure Salesforce Sandboxes for different environments (Dev, QA, UAT, and Production).

• Work with DevOps tools such as Gearset, OwnBackup, Git, Jenkins, Gitlab etc. to manage code versions and deployments.

• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper access controls, profiles, and permission sets.

• Collaborate with stakeholders (Admins, Business Analysts, and End-users) to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, including custom UI components using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce.

• Design and implement backend logic using Apex Classes, Triggers, and Batch Jobs.

• Manage and customize Salesforce Objects (S-Objects), including creating and modifying fields, relationships, record types, and layouts.

• Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features to leverage best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Devops Engineer / Developer.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or GoLang

• Experience in setting up and managing Salesforce Sandboxes.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with tools like Copado, Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines / GitHub Actions, Gearset, Ownbackup, SFDC CLI  etc.

• Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Aura Components.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Object Model (S-Objects) and SOQL/SOSL.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, and Salesforce DX (SFDX).

• Understanding of Salesforce Security & Compliance best practices.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I or II) is a plus.

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations is a plus.
