Job Description:
- Participate in design review meetings and gather requirements from the Lead and Product Owner
- Perform hands-on coding and native mobile development for Android
- Conduct peer reviews and participate in collaborative coding sessions
- Carry out extensive unit and integration testing
- Identify and resolve bugs during integration and user acceptance testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in mobile application development using Kotlin and Java
- Proven expertise in Android SDK and Android NDK
- Strong knowledge of mobile architecture and design patterns such as MVVM and MVP
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries like Retrofit, Volley, etc.
- Proficient in using code versioning tools such as Git, and platforms like Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab
- Hands-on experience in developing Android applications across domains (e.g., Healthcare, Banking, E-commerce)
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, especially jUnit for Unit Testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong comprehension abilities
