Job Description
Title: IBM DATAPOWER/API DEVELOPER
Location: Remote, but candidates MUST live in MD/DC/VA/WVNC/TX/FL/PA/DE/NJ
Interview process: (2 -3 rounds of MS Teams video)
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Previous BCBC or Payer industry experience needed.
Additional details:
- Experience configuring DataPower appliances for security, traffic management, mediation, and data transformation policies.
- Experience managing API gateways on DataPower using API Connect, including access control, rate limiting, and throttling.
Summary: CareFirst seeks a DataPower/API Connect Product Developer to install, maintain, and upgrade IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of IT experience
- Recent 3 years of IBM DataPower development experience
- Recent 3 years of IBM API Connect experience
- Node.js and Python scripting experience is a must
Nice to have:
- AWS
