Drupal Developer/Web Administrator
Location: Austin Texas Client : State of Texas
Exp: Minimum 12+ Years Must
80% Remote, requiring 1 day/week in office at William B. Travis State Building, 1701 North Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Web administration, web design with significant exposure to managing large-scale websites
- Proven experience with Drupal content management system (CMS), including content creation, taxonomy, nav
- Strong portfolio of complex web design, demonstrating a solid understanding of UI/UX design
- Ongoing operation, management, and maintenance of website content
- Experience and understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization techniques
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first strategies
- Ability to translate technical language into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, an ability to work collaboratively across different teams and explain technical issues
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
