Being a production support project, should possess excellent analytical, debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Proactively take ownership and resolve tickets in a timely fashion

Should be a self-starter and quick learner

Take responsibility and complete ownership on the work assigned from start to closure.

Documenting the changes and record keeping

Assign production support tickets, enhancement tasks to AS400 developers, ensure it is completed on time/as per schedule

Mentor and guide the team members

Ensure developers produce quality deliverables

Provide 24*7 support for critical batch failures

Handling feeds to external systems

Monitor/Restart AS400 services

Managing the AS400 Change control system – Rolling out the enhancements/application bug fixes to production

Quarterly User profile audit

Annual Security audit

AS400 Disaster recovery testing

Coordinate and setup AS400 environment for DR testing

AS400 Onboarding/Offboarding (Change in roles, departments etc.)
