Job Description
Seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) Business Analyst with a strong background in Accounts Receivable and Billing modules to support a mission-critical implementation and integration effort. This role is key to understanding business objectives and challenges, evaluating alternative solutions, and improving enterprise systems through automation and streamlined processes.
Job Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid Onsite on all Thursdays)
Please Note: Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and operational procedures.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and provide cost/benefit assessments of alternative solutions.
- Document detailed functional requirements, including input/output specifications and reporting formats.
- Assess current system capabilities and constraints to ensure feasible implementation of system changes.
- Perform hands-on end-to-end system integration testing with legacy systems and third-party interfaces.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements for developers and system integrators.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and status updates with business users and technical teams.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with training and documentation as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
- 8+ years of specialized experience in Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations.
- 8+ years of experience conducting requirement gathering sessions and fit/gap analysis with SMEs.
- 8+ years of experience performing system integration testing with third-party systems.
- 4+ years of experience using Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Teams in large team environments.
Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government).

2+ years of experience with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system.

2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).

Experience with SharePoint, Jira, Scrum framework, and STAT is a plus.
