Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture Design:
- Develop and implement data architecture models including logical and physical models
- Design database systems that are efficient scalable and secure
- Establish guidelines and standards for data management and governance
Systems Integration
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data across various platforms applications and services
- Ensure compatibility and the efficient flow of information between systems
Data Modeling
- Create data models that support strategic initiatives ensuring data is consistent high quality and accurate
- Conduct data analysis and profiling to discover data quality issues
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor data systems performance and implement necessary improvements
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with application developers’ business analysts and data engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into architectural solutions
- Present architecture designs and solutions to stakeholders providing clear and concise explanations
Documentation
- Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture including data models databases and systems integration workflows
- Ensure that documentation is accessible and updated as necessary
Technical Skills
- Proficient in data modeling tools and techniques
- Good experience with Snowflake SQL Control M
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL Extract Transform Load processes
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to solve complex problems and make decisions based on data analysis
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills particularly in explaining technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
