Job Description (Simple JD):
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong Agile/Scrum experience to lead and deliver a large software project. The ideal candidate should have experience managing multiple teams, working with vendors, and guiding technical solutions for large enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams through project planning and execution.
- Support a large software project involving tasks like data conversion, system integration, and infrastructure setup.
- Coach Agile teams and run Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Track project progress using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Coordinate with external vendors and ensure service agreements are followed.
- Help manage risks and ensure security policies are followed.
- Communicate project updates and manage change effectively.
- Prepare project documentation like plans, schedules, and reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, etc.).
- 10+ years of project management experience (3+ years in Agile/Scrum).
- Experience with large software implementations.
- Strong skills in tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Experience working with vendors and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe or PMP certification.
- Experience in government or public sector projects.
- Familiarity with compliance standards like NIST or FedRAMP.
