Job Description
We have a new contract opportunity for an experienced AWS Data Engineer with a strong background in Python, Django, AWS, and Terraform. This role is based in Hartford, Connecticut and is 100% onsite — we are only considering candidates who are currently local to Connecticut.
Job Title: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Hartford, CT (Local Candidates Only – Onsite)
Start Date: ASAP
Experience Required: 10+ Years (Must be senior-level & hands-on)
Required Skills:- 10+ years of experience in Python programming
- Strong hands-on experience with Django (or similar frameworks)
- Proven experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, etc.)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Expertise in data pipelines, data ingestion, transformation, and optimization
- Solid understanding of cloud-native data engineering principles
- CI/CD, DevOps, and performance tuning knowledge is a plus
