Job Title: Security Analyst – US Remote (English & German Speaking)
Location: Remote (USA-based only)
Contract Duration: 3–4 months (through end of the year)

Job Overview:
- We are seeking up to three Security Analysts for a short-term contract to support data security operations related to Personal Data Transfers (PDT). This role is fully remote within the United States and requires fluency in both English and German.
- Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in security operations, especially in data or infrastructure security, with familiarity across core security domains. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure proper handling, scanning, and reporting of sensitive data during employee offboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with data files from former employees as part of the PDT (Personal Data Transfer) process.
- Upload received data to Microsoft Purview for security scanning.
- Analyze scan results, identify potential security concerns, and document discrepancies.
- Re-upload processed data to secure shared drives for review by authorized stakeholders.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and follow security protocols for data handling.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with internal security policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
- 2+ years of experience in IT Security – ideally in L1+ or L2 roles
- Knowledge of data security, infrastructure security, and core security domains
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or similar data scanning/security tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with care
- Authorized to work in the United States and available to start immediately
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience with employee offboarding security processes
- Experience working with remote or international teams
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)
