We’re Hiring: Network Security Engineer – Firewalls & Load Balancers
Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Contract Duration: 9+ Months
Interview Mode: Face-to-Face (In-person)
Are you an experienced Network Security Engineer with expertise in firewall administration and load balancing? This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and optimize enterprise firewalls and load balancers.
Administer Citrix NetScaler, Palo Alto, Check Point, and related technologies.
Implement and maintain secure network solutions (VPNs, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS).
Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, connectivity, and security.
Monitor, analyze, and proactively resolve network and application delivery challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive secure and scalable solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years with firewall technologies (stateful inspection, next-gen firewalls, L7 filtering).
8+ years with load balancing (L4 & L7) – Citrix NetScaler expertise a must.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, VLANs, VPNs, security protocols.
Hands-on with IDS/IPS systems, SIEM/log analysis, and monitoring tools (Wireshark).
Vendor experience: Citrix NetScaler, Palo Alto, Check Point, VMware NSX-T, Zscaler.
Soft Skills: Problem-solving under pressure, attention to detail, documentation, teamwork, and effective communication.
