Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM/WM Consultant to support and optimize our SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules. This role focuses on improving unit of measure (UoM) consistency, inventory accuracy, product identification, and cost accounting. You will work closely with business and technical teams to resolve integration issues and drive enhancements between SAP and external partners, including suppliers and warehouse locations.

- Analyze and resolve issues related to Unit of Measure (UoM) mismatches, conversions, and integration between SAP and external systems.
- Configure SAP MM/WM to support accurate handling of decimal quantities, weight-based products, and low-cost items.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate material master data using identifiers like VSN and EAN/UPC.
- Support and troubleshoot EDI invoice processing, ensuring alignment between SAP and supplier-submitted data.
- Lead improvements in managing alternative units of measure (AUM) across multiple vendor and warehouse locations.
- Address inventory discrepancies caused by partial usage on recipe-based BOMs, ensuring accurate costing and stock levels.
- Provide guidance on master data governance for materials and vendors to prevent recurring errors.
- Work with SAP Basis and integration teams to maintain and enhance SAP-to-supplier interfaces via EDI or middleware (e.g., CPI).
- Design and run testing scenarios (unit, integration, UAT) to confirm solutions are effective.
- Create and deliver documentation and training to internal users and external partners.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM and WM configuration and support experience.
- Deep understanding of UoM configuration, material master data, and SAP integration with procurement/logistics.
- Experience resolving issues with AUM, decimal quantity handling, and multi-site UoM conversions.
- Strong knowledge of master data governance, particularly for product identifiers.
- Experience with SAP EDI/CPI integration and troubleshooting
- Ability to work in recipe-based manufacturing or similar environments handling complex material consumption scenarios.
- SAP certification in MM/WM or related modules is a plus
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM/WM features.
- Background in retail, food service, consumer goods, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
