Job Description
Title: SAP MDG Lead Consultant
Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA (3 days on site)

Description:
- Define and design future-state architecture to support SAP MDG implementation.
- Lead and execute all phases of the SAP MDG project lifecycle including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live.
- Develop solution recommendations for data modeling, integration, synchronization, and replication mechanisms.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide guidance on best practices and technical approaches in SAP MDG projects.
- Create and maintain project documentation including technical specifications, design documents, and test scripts.
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams and contribute to agile project delivery using tools like JIRA, RevTrack, etc.
- Support project planning, status reporting, and team task management.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG configurations: Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Rules & Derivations, BRF+.
- Expertise in MDG workflows, FPM (Floor Plan Manager), WDABAP, and BAdI implementations.
- Knowledge of ERP master data tables, especially for MM/SD is a plus.
- Experience in UI customization: design of UI elements, navigation (Hyperlink, Push Button), and Data Quality Rules.
- Deep understanding of Data Replication Framework (IDocs, RFC, Web Services).
- Hands-on development for MDG enhancements using ABAP and MDG APIs.
- Experience in managing SIT test cases and executing system integration tests independently.
- Strong exposure to end-to-end SAP MDG implementation cycles.
- Experience in leading large implementation teams and onsite-offshore coordination.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to work independently.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with project tools such as JIRA, RevTrack, and Dynamics.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA; exposure to other modules like MM or SD is an added advantage.
- SAP MDG Certification is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
