Job Description
We’re looking for a Mid-Level SQL Server DBA with strong experience in database migration, administration, and performance tuning to join our team on a contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and document existing SQL Server environments.
- Support and execute database migrations (backup/restore, scripting, data transfer, and validation).
- Perform health checks, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Ensure data integrity, high availability, and security compliance during migrations.
- Maintain documentation and assist with post-migration support.
Required Experience
- 8 years of SQL Server administration (versions 2012 and above).
- Strong hands-on experience with migration tools (Data Migration Assistant, Log Shipping, Always On, Backup/Restore).
- Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Profiler.
- Experience with on-premises and hybrid environments.
- Cloud migration exposure (Azure SQL / AWS RDS) is a plus.
