We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to architect, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade data solutions. This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, cloud data engineering, and modern data architectures. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with deep experience in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and implementing data governance, performance tuning, and cloud integrations.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines and solutions using Snowflake.
Define, implement, and enforce Snowflake best practices for performance optimization, cost efficiency, security, and scalability.
Utilize Snowflake data cataloging tools and capabilities to improve accessibility and metadata management.
Implement robust data quality, lineage, and governance controls across the Snowflake environment.
Mentor and guide data engineering teams on Snowflake architecture, SQL optimization, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with AWS cloud teams to ensure seamless integration with enterprise cloud architectures (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization across the data platform.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
8+ years of Data Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (enterprise-scale implementations).
Strong understanding of cloud architecture—AWS preferred (S3, Lambda, Glue) or Azure equivalents.
Expertise in integrating Snowflake with AWS services for ingestion, transformation, and automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Python, especially for data ingestion frameworks and transformations.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.
Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced Architect).
