Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester with strong IBM Maximo expertise to support a major migration from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.1. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automation experience using Tricentis Tosca and NeoLoad, with a deep understanding of testing enterprise asset management applications, integrations, and performance requirements.
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester with strong IBM Maximo expertise to support a major migration from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.1. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automation experience using Tricentis Tosca and NeoLoad, with a deep understanding of testing enterprise asset management applications, integrations, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to ensure functionality, system stability, and performance during the migration.
· Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing across Maximo/MAS modules and custom workflows.
· Utilize Tricentis Tosca for automated testing and NeoLoad for performance and load testing.
· Validate data quality and successful data transformation between Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9.1.
· Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and SMEs to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and defect resolution processes.
· Participate in project planning sessions, sprint reviews, and testing cycles, leveraging Agile methodologies.
· Track, log, and prioritize defects using industry-standard test management tools.
· Support deployment events and go-live activities, providing testing insights and remediation recommendations.
· Provide documentation of testing processes, results, and quality metrics to project leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 12+ years of QA testing experience, with at least 2+ years focused on IBM Maximo.
· Proven experience supporting Maximo 7.6 to MAS 8/9 migration projects.
· Strong automation background with Tricentis Tosca.
· Hands-on performance testing using NeoLoad.
· Solid understanding of Maximo workflows, integrations, and data structures.
· Experience working in Agile project environments.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to travel periodically for onsite testing support in New Orleans or The Woodlands.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with cloud-hosted MAS environments (Azure or Red Hat OpenShift).
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing practices.
· ITIL or Maximo-related certifications.
