Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst (Lending Products)
Location: Hybrid onsite in Boston, MA, or NYC, NY
Duration: 6+ month contract; Strong potential for extension
 
Required Skills
New hard requirement: Previous banking experience – Needs someone who understands the landscape and can speak on their experience this in respect.
• Role focus: Marketing analytics experience.
Not acceptable: General data analysts who worked with several teams including marketing teams – Need someone centric to a marketing analytics group. Project Scope (dig into details here):
• Seeking mid-level candidates with at least 3+ years of experience in marketing data and analytics
• Ideal profiles will have direct exposure to lending product data—including areas like lending, underwriting, and related financial services
• Analyze and visualize marketing data, with a focus on lending products
• Build dashboards using Power BI and AWS QuickSight
• Support marketing campaign execution and measurement
• Run queries, interpret trends, and assess marketing channel effectiveness
 
Overview:
Our client in the banking domain is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join their Marketing Analytics & Data Science team. This role will support strategic marketing initiatives, with a focus on credit and lending product analytics. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization in a dynamic financial services environment.
 
Responsibilities:
·      Analyze and interpret marketing data, with a focus on lending products
·      Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI and AWS QuickSight
·      Support campaign measurement and execution, providing actionable insights
·      Run queries, identify trends, and assess the effectiveness of marketing channels
·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals
·      Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
 
Required Experience:
·      Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing data and analytics
·      Strong understanding of digital marketing data, campaign strategy, and execution
·      Experience with lending product data (e.g., lending, underwriting)
·      Proficiency in SQL Server (query writing)
·      Dashboarding experience with Power BI
·      Working knowledge of Python
·      Familiarity with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
·      Prior experience in financial services, preferably banking or fintech
 
Desired Experience:
·      Dashboarding experience with AWS QuickSight
·      Exposure to Experian valuation, Axiom, or Tealium tag management
·      Understanding of identity graph concepts
 
Soft Skills:
·      Strong communication skills with the ability to engage leadership, team members, and clients
·      Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
