Job Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Tester to support a long-term federal program with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). This is a fully remote role, with occasional onsite visits (approximately four times per year) in Washington D.C.
Responsibilities

Design and build UI automation frameworks for complex applications.

Write Java-based automation scripts for UI, business layer, and data layer validation.

Develop mature automation frameworks supporting end-to-end, highly integrated systems.

Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.

Log, track, and document defects in JIRA.

Perform functional, non-functional, system integration, regression, and UAT testing.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Hands-on experience with Selenium BDD frameworks.

Core Java expertise for automation development.

Strong experience with smoke, regression, UAT, and E2E testing.

Expertise in REST API validation and backend integration testing.

Proficiency with SQL and backend system workflows.

Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.

Exposure to monitoring tools like DataDog, Splunk, etc.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
