Overview
Our client is seeking a seasoned MS Dynamics 365 SCM Consultant to act as the functional expert for Microsoft D365 F&O, with strong emphasis on Retail, POS, Warehousing, Finance, and CRM modules. This role requires someone with exceptional stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and deep domain knowledge across Supply Chain & Retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support incident management, compliance processes, and ensure accurate data & consistent ERP operations.
- Lead and participate in end-to-end D365 implementations—requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design, define, and document integrations between D365 F&O and other enterprise applications.
- Identify opportunities to optimize performance, enhance workflows, and improve enterprise-wide data visibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional/system issues to ensure minimal disruptions and continuous business operations.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, SI partners, and internal teams for system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing support.
- Develop detailed documentation for configurations, functional specs, and business processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business users—educating them on best practices, capabilities, and new D365 features.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), ideally within a Retail ecosystem.
- Proven background as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or Application Specialist in D365.
- Deep understanding of Retail operations, including store processes, inventory, supply chain, warehousing, and finance workflows.
- Demonstrated success in ERP stabilization, compliance programs, and control framework implementations.
- Experience in end-to-end D365 implementations, module rollouts, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into effective, scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors or implementation partners.
