•  The project is seeking an expert in CICD to evaluate and redesign existing workflows, providing recommendations for improvements. This role requires the ability to review current workflows, identify areas for enhancement, and implement necessary changes. While expertise in DBT is not essential, familiarity with it is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should be a self-learner, capable of quickly adapting to new tools and technologies. The primary focus of this project is on CICD, with a significant emphasis on integrating and optimizing DBT processes.
• 50% architecture, 50% hands on

Why is req open?

• Current resource is a Principal Data Engineer that wears a lot of hats and is moving to a new team focusing on Data Science. This role will be a backfill, but not looking to replicate the previous resource.
  • Azure DevOps (ADO) – CI/CD
  • DBT – (Data build tool)
  • Snowflake engineering – needs to know the engineering side of the house to be good at the CI/CD
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Principal Arch on the team that does everything.  He’s moving to a data science project:
  • DBT administration – enhancements and upgrades
  • Also works on the CI/CD – good integration between DBT and CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
  • Snowflake stored procedure. 
  • Needs to be an “expert” in CI/CD pipelines – will review the current pipelines and make recommendations
